We are looking for our new Fresher Captain!

ESN Lappeenranta opens our search for the Fresher Captain position. Please read the requirements and description of the role. Apply immediately if you are interested. Description and requirements for the role.

1. Fresher Captain is an Officer position. A Fresher Captain does not belong to the board, but it is one of the most critical roles of the organisation. Your data will not be entered into the Finnish registers (PRH), but your information will be accessible on the website and our socials.
2. You must engage people around you. You will be the center of the activities. You get our exchange students together, and if they are not around – you go there, where they are.
3. You will represent ESN Lappeenranta and wear the honourable helmet of ESN Lappeenranta Fresher Captain. You will be a part of the Fresher Captains community. You must show everyone how cool we are.
4. You might be proficient in English and Finnish.
5. Your prior experience in tutoring is a strong advantage.
6. Your understanding of how ESN Lappeenranta works is essential.
7. You will become a Fresher Captain for 2 semesters: Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026.
8. You will be entitled to all our Fresher Captain benefits: attending our events for free, being one of the candidates for the Timetravels trips, and many more. Most importantly, you will spend time with supportive people, gain connections, and have fun.
