Apulanta (1991 – …)

Apulanta are a band from Heinola. After being brought into existence in 1991, they have received immense appreciation and respect for songs such as Pahempi Toistaan and Valot Pimeyksien Reunalla. Apulanta has given birth to 13 studio albums, and its music is known for elements associated with punk rock and alternative metal.

Eppu Normaali (1976 – …)

Eppu Normaali is a band that has been around since the seventies. It has established itself as one of Finland’s rock giants, being the best-selling artist in the country. Songs like Vuonna ’85 and Tahroja Paperilla are some of the band’s most well-regarded.

Juice Leskinen (1950 – 2006)

If you wish to know about some of the pioneers of Finnish rock music, Juice Leskinen is easily among the most important. Viidestoista Yö is recognized as one of Juice’s masterpieces and remains one of the most popular Finnish songs.
