The guild membership and ESNcard
ESNcard is the official membership card of the Erasmus Student Network. It was created with the principle idea to be used as a membership card, which gives you access to all the services and discounts offered by the ESN and our partners.
With the ESNcard, you will enjoy thousands of European discounts (housing, sports, food, bars, etc.). Moreover, you can participate year-round in thousands of events (trips, cultural events, sports activities, and parties).
The ESNcard aims to support and give opportunities to international students during and after their exchange.
Who can get the ESNcard?
Over 100.000 people per year use the ESNcard in 36 countries, and the numbers are growing every year.
You can always get the ESNcard, if you belong to one of the following groups:
- You have been an international student (e.g Erasmus or any other exchange programme)
- You are currently an international student on exchange
- You are a volunteer in ESN
If you don’t fit in any of these groups, you might still be able to get the card. Please feel free to reach out to us for more information.
How can you get the ESNcard?
You can get your ESNcard directly from us, ESN Lappeenranta. Just show up at any of our events or come to the ESN office during office hours, tell us you want to buy the ESNcard and we’ll be happy to help you to get into ESNcard discounts!
You can also buy the ESNcard online here before picking it up.
In Lappeenranta, the ESNcard costs 12€ and with it you can get cheaper or even free participation to ESN parties, trips, sport and cultural events etc. The card is valid for 12 months and only with a photo and the personal information filled in correctly.
The card can be used all over Europe to get discounts at ESN events and from ESN partners. To use all the benefits, remember to register your ESNcard at esncard.org, where you can also see all of the more than 1000 discounts around Europe!
Swisscare Health Insurance
As a member of ESN Lappeenranta, you can get a 10% discount on Swisscare Health Insurance by ordering it through this page.
Ryanair offer
Ryanair supports Erasmus students by offering:
- 10% discount on four single flights;
- Free luggage with your ESN card;
- Weekly travel offers for Erasmus students;
- Tailored Ryanair in-journey offers on the mobile app.
Remember to enter your ESNcard credentials in the Ryanair account before your purchase!
