Q: Am I obligated to have my picture, and what should it be?
A: According to the policy, you must have your picture on your ESNcard. It shouldn’t be made at the expensive photographer’s office, and it shouldn’t be strictly an official document photo. You can print it yourself or order your photo printing from us.
Q: I want to buy this card. Am I eligible?
A: This membership is for LUT and LAB UAS students studying in Lappeenranta.
Q: How long it works?
A: The ESN Lappeenranta card and the membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Q: How can I get this?
A: You can pay for your membership through our website. You can pick up the ESNcard from the ESN guild room (room 1224) during our office hours. Only board members or trusted personnel can give it to you at specific times. However, at the start of the semester, we could have some extra special days. Please get your card as soon as possible.
Q: How should I fill this card?
A: Please fill this card with your name, nationality, date of birth, university name and our section “ESN Lappeenranta”. Your validity date is the first day you purchase your membership on our website. Then, please add your picture and cover the card with protective adhesive film. Please don’t remove the film. It is there on purpose.
Q: What should I do to register my card?
A: Please visit www.esncard.org and register an account there. After that, fill in your information on their website with the same data you fill out on your card. Please be careful and check what you type in. Remember to use your unique ESNcard number, which you can find at the front.
Q: How can I get my RyanAir discount?
A: Register at RyanAir, and in the personal cabinet, find the section with Erasmus Discount. Please fill it out with the same information as at esncard.org. Double-check everything you type, be aware of special symbols, and if you have double or triple names, everything must be identical on both websites.
Q: My RyanAir account declined my card. Please replace it. I need a new one, and as soon as possible.
A: About five students per semester are coming with this issue. It always happens if you are mistaken about the information you fill. Please read carefully the previous question.
Q: Will anyone ever check if my card is valid and filled?
A: Yes, at least at the Timetravels trip, you must have your filled and valid ESNcard to travel with an ESN discount. We can occasionally check it at our events if there is a participant’s name list.
Q: Will my home ESNcard give me discounts in Lappeenranta?
A: No.
Q: Am I obligated to buy it through the website?
A: Yes. Our member register is in the website’s database and gives you discounts on our website. Everything is secure.
Q: Can I get a refund? I mistakenly purchased it!
A: This product is non-refundable!
